so that’s all for now. School started Jan. 10th again. so off we go on the rat race. I have one person in one of my classes that is getting her degree in CVT (certified vet tech), so she can do research and development on animals. Grrrrr. That kills me. Did you know there is a research lab in New Iberia that has a ton of monkeys? Well, I didnt either until Darryl told me and he wont tell me WHERE it is. Maybe I’ll just drive down there and drive around until I find it. My dumbass just googled it and here is a link http://www.releasechimps.org/labs/labs-with-chimpanzees/new-iberia-research-center/ it also says NIRC breeds the following species of nonhuman primates: chimpanzee, vervet monkey, cynomolgus macaque, pigtailed macaque, and rhesus macaque. It has 240 chimps! 240!! over 6,000 non human primates! I wish I could open a rehab center for exotics, I would so do that. Darryl wouldnt like it, but he’d have to get over it. lol. I would love it if I had a sloth to care for and rehab. They are so cute. It’s my fav. animal.
