so that’s all for now. School started Jan. 10th again. so off we go on the rat race. I have one person in one of my classes that is getting her degree in CVT (certified vet tech), so she can do research and development on animals. Grrrrr. That kills me. Did you know there is a research lab in New Iberia that has a ton of monkeys? Well, I didnt either until Darryl told me and he wont tell me WHERE it is. Maybe I’ll just drive down there and drive around until I find it. My dumbass just googled it and here is a link http://www.releasechimps.org/labs/labs-with-chimpanzees/new-iberia-research-center/ it also says NIRC breeds the following species of nonhuman primates: chimpanzee, vervet monkey, cynomolgus macaque, pigtailed macaque, and rhesus macaque. It has 240 chimps! 240!! over 6,000 non human primates! I wish I could open a rehab center for exotics, I would so do that. Darryl wouldnt like it, but he’d have to get over it. lol. I would love it if I had a sloth to care for and rehab. They are so cute. It’s my fav. animal.

I was gonna blog about. Let’s see I had a dr’s appt yesterday. I have celiac disease. Which it is an autoimmune digestive disease that damages the villi of the small intestine and interferes with absorption of nutrients from food. What does this mean? Celiac disease is triggered by consumption of the protein called gluten, which is found in wheat, barley and rye. Sounds fun right? So of course there is a special diet for it. Which btw we have NOTHING in our house that is gluten free. YAY me. So hopefully with this diet, I will also lose weight bc I’m fat and I need too. Doc said to join weight watchers, but I cant afford it right now. So I joined sparkpeople.com for now. But I’m having a hard time finding a diet on there that is gluten free. sigh. this blows.

no post huh? Everyone probably thought I forgot about my blog. My what? Two readers? Me and my dh. lol Life has been busy the past few months. Let’s see updates:
Me:
I broke my ankle on Nov. 17th. I locked my keys in the house and when I jumped the back fence, my ankle snapped and cracked. I go back to my ortho tomorrow to get my cast off and re-xrayed. Fun Fun. hopefully i’m good to go. I go see my reg. doc on Thurs. Everytime I eat any kind of bread, I get sick. Sooo not fun. I hate it. My photography is picking up a lil bit. I did 3 boudoir sessions in Oct. and an engagement session in Oct. And I might have like 3 weddings next year.
Darryl:
Is working hard as usual. It’s deer season, I become a widow on the weekends. He hasnt shot anything yet. I went with him once and saw 5 deer and shot at 2. Missed both of them. He was pissed especially since I was sitting on his stand. lol. Other than working and hunting not much is going on with him.
Rhesa:
is doing well in school. She might be allergic to nickle, we gotta go back to the pedi and then be sent to an allergist to find out wtf is going on a rash she has. It’s on her belly and face. She is getting more and more sassy and I hate it. why cant they stay good forever? Why do they gotta get sassy as they get older? lol Oh and she has set FIL’s shed on fire last weekend. Yes you read that right. SHE lit it on FIRE. That was great fun. NOT. The kid KNOWS not to mess with fire, but for some reason it went out of her head.
Gavin:
hasnt broken anything in awhile. knock on wood. He will be 6 on the 29th. Sigh. He hasnt grown much that’s for sure. lol. He loves school and is learning a lot. He helps Rhesa with her homework when she needs it.
Alivia:
is actually good at school. She listens to her teacher. which makes me mad, why cant she listen at home? lol She loves singing me the songs she is learning at school. She is so excited that santa is coming. She points things out “can you get me that for christmas?” so far she wants about oh $6,000 worth of toys for xmas. Like that’s gonna happen. lol.
I think that’s it for now. kids are hungry so i gotta go feed them. sigh. being a parent would be so much easier if kids didnt have to eat.
oh and on nov. 4th, the president elect was voted and the winner is obama. i use “winner” lightly.

school is going good. Busy Busy. Counseling theories is interesting. Loads of Frued. The rise of modern science is confusing as hell. I never was good at science. Kids are doing good. Rhesa got an “B” in conduct last week. She didnt fuss at her because she beat herself up enough over it. she was so upset, I have no idea what we are going to do if she gets a B on a report card or something. Poor kid. Gavin is lovin kindergarten. Learning lots of new things and being his usual self at school. His teacher loves him. Alivia is loving pre-K. She has not had any bad notes sent home and her closepin has stayed on Green which is good. I’m surprised. lol maybe we need to start the stoplight thing here at home. Need to get some closepins and construction paper. Darryl is busy busy with work. Leaves early and comes home late. sigh. cant wait until this special duty is over and we leave and he goes back to a regular job. sigh. Speaking of jobs, I got a new one. Lifetouch School Portraits. I’m excited. Taking pictures. I’m in training right now. Fun Fun. I got in a car accident on Monday the 15th. I was picking Rhesa and Gavin up from school and someone backed into me in the parking lot. Screwed up my passenger side. So I am waiting for the new parts to come in so I can bring the car into the shot to get fixed. The guy was at fault, so his insurance has to pay for my car, a rental car, and they are giving me $500 for my pain and suffering. Fun. I have whiplash, not so fun. getting better. Neck doesnt hurt as much. well that’s it.

School started Aug. 8th, so this week was the first full week of school for Rhesa. She has had homework everyday this week, so far she likes her teacher, Mrs. T. Tues. was Gavin’s orientation for kindergarten and we met his teacher, Mrs. S. She seems nice. He goes to school tomorrow with the rest of the boys in kindergarten, then on Friday they all start. Alivia went to school today with half the kids in her class. She stays home tomorrow. She LOVES her teacher, Mrs. L. I didn’t get a phone call or a note sent home, so I guess she did good! She said she took a nap at school and she had lunch. That’s all she did, ALLLLL day long according to her. lol. She stays home tomorrow then goes back to school with all of pre-k on Friday. She rode the bus today too. sniff sniff. She’s growing up, my baby isnt a baby anymore. *wahhhhh*
This week is also the last week of school for me until Sept. 2nd. woohoo!! I get a small break. So far I have either 2 A’s or an A and a B. I cant remember. lol. My brain is fried right now. I’m so tired. This weekend is the girls’ birthday party. We are having it in P’ville since Darryl has a hunting meeting that night. Oh boy hunting season will be starting soon, i’m so excited. can you tell? lol

Gavin is doing good since his surgery. The first week and a half was bad. He wouldnt eat anything and would wake up in pain. Thought he was going to be put on stronger pain meds, but a cortizone shot later, he is doing good. He has a doctor’s appt on Aug. 19th, with the ortho doc bc it looks like his left leg bows out. I dont remember it doing it before now. Yes, I’m a paranoid mother. Get over it.
School is going alright. My first classes are almost over. They are flying by. I like my sociology class better than my Interpersonal Effectiveness class. But I like my IE teacher better than my Soc teacher. Cant have everything I want huh? Dammit.
We found an English Bulldog breeder and went and met with her last weekend. Found a pup and fell in love with 2 of them. But we cant afford 2 of them. Lots more classes to go. lol Photography is going good. Had my first, second, and third non family photo shoots. I’ll post some of them later.
And I know yall have been missing my useless info! So here is one for ya. Snails do foreplay for 6 HOURS before mating. After 6 hours they shoot a DART into each other (the have both male and female sex organs).

First update on Gavin. His surgery was on July 3rd. He came through it like a trooper. Still taking pain meds but not every 3 hours like we were. His ears aren’t hurting him, he just hates not being able to go swimming until the 17th when we get his ear plugs. He is eating alright, but mostly wants cold stuff still.
School is going alright. 2nd week in. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with some stuff, but for the most part it’s good. Sociology is confusing at times, I have to look up some of the words in my book. lol. I feel stupid at times, but since Darryl is in the military and we move around a lot, it is easy in that way so I can relate to a lot of different cultures. Interpersonal relationships is kinda hard. I’m not the type to relate to my feelings a lot of times. Ask Darryl. I talk okay I yell but that’s about it. Every now and then I get mushy.
My mom and her boyfriend have decided to get married in June of next year. It’s kinda weird thinking about it. My brother and 2 sisters are walking in the wedding and all the grandkids are being in it. I’m not. I’m taking pictures which is okay with me, I dont have to get all prissy. lol. I’m not sure if she is going to have Adam and Darryl in the wedding. The colors I think are khaki and light blue.
Speaking of parents, I have not heard from my father in like 4 months or more. Pretty sad since he only lives an hour away. I dont know if Skye sees and talks to him or not. Quite frankly he has had his chance and I give up. No more. I’m not dealing with it anymore. I have tried and tried but nothing I do seems to help anything so fuck it.
3 years before we leave Louisiana. We want to go overseas but no clue where we wanna go. I want England, Guam, Japan, or Alaska. I’m not sure where Darryl wants to go. The kids want to go back to Italy. Like they even remember being there. lol. I think Darryl wouldnt mind Guam too much. Lots of fishing and stuff to do in the ocean. Right up his alley, ya know?
Yesterday, July 6th, made 7 years we have been married. Some days it doesnt feel that long, sometimes it does. Most people thought we wouldnt make it, but here we are. Haha fuck you people I went to school with. sorry had to get that out.

has to have surgery next thurs. July 3rd. I have been wondering for a few weeks if he has a hearing problem bc we practically have to yell at him for him to hear us. So I made a dr’s appt for him. We go in and they do a hearing test on him like 4 times before he hears anything, then they tell me that “everything is fine. he is hearing just fine” wtf? not if you have to do the test 4 fucking times for him to hear anything! So i asked to be sent to an ENT. So the ENT appt was today. We get there and I explain to the doc what’s going on and he looks at Gavin’s ears, nose, and throat. Then tells me he wants to do a test on Gavin to see if there is any fluid in his hears. So I agree. They do the test on Gavin. Then the doc tells me that he can see the fluid in Gavin’s ears, he just wanted to make sure with the test. He said that there is so much fluid in Gavin’s ears that his ear drums dont even move when air is blown into his ears. So it’s no wonder the boy cant hear! So he is putting tubes in G Man’s ears and taking out his adnoids and tonsils. He said the sooner the better. I agree. I want this done and over with and Gavin healed before school starts. So Gman will have tubes and cant go swimming for at least 2 weeks after the surgery. poor man. so I’ll keep my blog updated on that.
Rhesa and Alivia are driving me nuts. I love them to death but omfg give mommy a break every now and then PLEASE. Forget terrible two’s, Alivia is in horrendous threes. She is yelling at us and yells “i hate you” when we tell her that no she cant do something or having something. So she throws a fit and i put her in her room until she stops, then she comes out and says she’s sorry. but it drives me nuts. and then Rhesa is thinking she can boss the other 2 around and tries to get them in trouble all the time. I’m ready to pull my hair out! I cant wait until school starts! lol.
Speaking of school, mine starts tomorrow. woohoo! wish me luck that i dont get stressed out.

so anyway, life has been busy. Darryl took a 2 week leave from work and we went to Grand Isle for 3 days, then to Simmesport for 2 days, then to Prairieville for a few days. Busy Busy Busy. Seems like we were hardly home during those 2 weeks. We actually got along. surprise surprise right?

This mask I wear,
she serves me well,
she hides my pain,
so they can’t tell.
They see her smile,

if only they knew,

My scars she hides,
behind laughter and lies,
she say’s she is fine,

whatcha think? I dont know why i’ve been in this mood where I just want to be blah. left alone. brood. I have no sex drive right now, no self esteem, nothing. I dont feel like I am in a “low” but maybe I am. IDK. Wish it will end soon though. I hate feeling like this. Maybe it’s because I am so stressed out.
I start school on the 26th of this month. wish me luck. i am taking 2 classes. both online at argosy university. I am taking Interpersonal Effectiveness and Sociology in a Global Perspective. The kids start school at the beginning of Aug. this year. ALL 3 of them! Whatever will I do without a kid?? More time for scrapping. lol. Right now the only thing I plan on is taking a hot bath BY MYSELF and going pee BY MYSELF. I mean I can not remember the last time i got to soak in a tub without a kid in there. lol. or sit down to go pee and I hear “what you doing? dont baget to wipe you pee-pee” can you tell what i repeat everyday to the 3 year old? lol
okay kids are in bed, i am going to go and try and sneak a shower before darryl gets home.
